Nice! I hope you get it quick and can enjoy for years! African blackwood bud vase. About 6 inches tall by 2 1/2 round. 3 rings burned with wire. Walnut oil finish. Plastic tube fitted to inside so live plants can be displayed. Wife already claimed it! Attached File Attached File |

Made a bookcase for one of my kids. approx 42 tall x 52 wide. Made from cherry. Weighs a ton. fuzzy picture but give you the idea.   2 drawers on the bottom with slides that have to be pushed in so they spring open slightly.   Hidden compartment that can be accessed by a slide on the top inside surface of opened right side drawer. panel on inside pops out enough to allow removal.    Without a doubt Cherry is my favorite wood. There was a few oooppsies in the making, hard for anyone to see or find. Not one of my best jobs but I'm getting better, still consider myself a rookie at this. Wife has more projects lined up for me. |

Don't have any idea how many bdft It required. rough figure, maybe 70ish using finish dimensions, I know there was lots of scrap when using rough sawn boards. Maybe 100 total? Probably more. Some of the wood was purchased but the majority was stuff that I sawed up myself. |

Attached File Added some cedar and a piece of walnut. Cover is not down all the way. Waiting for shellac to cure. Attached File Attached File |
