I remember reading the threads when he was in the initial stages of forming Team Ranstad. What a great guy. He wanted to let our guys know that people at home are thinking about them and their sacrifice was not forgotten. He sure as hell succeeded in doing just that.

Here's a guy that actually did something for others as opposed to just talking about it. God bless him and his family for their terrible loss.

It all happened very quickly.

He only went public with it a couple months ago and had not known himself for much longer than that. It was already very advanced (stage 4, inoperable) when discovered, and was more aggressive than expected.
