Stuffed peppers made with venison sausage and the peppers were on the vine this morning.
It's a different recipe, sausage, veggies, Jasmin rice, chicken stock and cheese...seasoning herbs of my choice. Normally, there would be tomatoes sauce,but this recipe doesn't use it. Leftover stuffing will be in pasta shells tomorrows dinner with sauce.  Attached File |

not fantastic, but not bad - would rate lower, but the peppers are fresh off the vine.
I would say it would be a bit better with the right sauce. Worth a try at least...many of this style dishes don't look as good as they taste. So a good 6.5 prior to eating the first bite. |

It is pretty meh...
But, you gotta try new stuff occasionally. I think it will be much better with the pasta shells and sauce. |

I came in looking for bell peppers and was disappointment. the stuffing looks good tho

Making rice using chicken stock instead of water is one of my favorite tricks. Everybody should try it.

Little guac or sour cream with some hot sauce is how I'd finish it probably. |
