To this date, the US military has said there has never been any physical evidence recovered which proves the existence of UFOs or alien life and have not confirmed that this recovery ever took place. However, Claussen spoke at an event at the National Press Club organized by investigative filmmaker James Fox, which gathered witnesses and other experts to expose what they claim has been buried about the Varginha crash. 'If true, I am certain that 30 to 40 Americans had direct knowledge of this flight and its purpose,' Claussen said. The decorated Air Force veteran explained that if the US military did launch a UFO recovery mission to Brazil, it would have started within Air Mobility Command at Scott Air Force Base in Illinois. They would have received the initial order to send a cargo plane, so senior officers there would have known the Varginha crash existed. 'An international flight plan to Brazil is required even if the mission is classified. Paper trail,' Claussen declared. From there, a specific Air Mobility Wing at Charleston Air Force Base in South Carolina would have received a detailed mission order, selected a crew, and prepared a C-17 aircraft for launch - involving dozens of people. Pilots, loadmasters, schedulers, and commanders at that base would have been in the loop in 1996, and Claussen was convinced the proof of that UFO crash still exists. Along with the witnesses from Brazil and other UFO researchers, Claussen then challenged the Air Force personnel who allegedly flew to Brazil to become whistleblowers and expose what really happened in 1996. That thread is set to be a non-archiving (stays alive forever) thread for his podcasts. It's ok to post it in more than one thread as long as it's not spamming the forum with random crap or multi level marketing crap. Same goes for other regular big sources of information, the dedicated thread for why files and the typical interviewees being set to on archive might get to page 2, but they'll never "fall off" unless staff is involved. |

For perspective, it sounds like this colonel wasn't involved and he's just saying "if it happened, this is how it would have gone down with the Air Force." That's not evidence of anything at all, just some hints for where to seek evidence. |

I would think it would be handled much more discreetly than Air Mobility Command. Like you said a seperate entity. A much more compartmentalized command that does high security clearance missions regularly. Like JSOC or whatever it is these days. |

It's 2017 and Trump says his phones were tapped while he was running for president. A large majority of people said "That is impossible, any taps would have to go through the FISA court and get approval and there is no way it happened without a paper trail a mile wide!!" That was the biggest reason for it to be "false", assumption that Everything works the way they think it works. I think it is similar both in the US and Brazil, where people assume "The Government" has or can get any information desired from anywhere in the world, which was true for a short while on some topics, except now the cart and horse are not swapped but missing entirely and replaced with something new. So, I sort of believe the Pentagon on recent events where they don't have a clue, since they dump anything really new over to the aerospace companies (In my opinion: Except Bigelow, which is why he's a big push for open. Potentially same path as Lear not being an independent .gov contractor for aerospace). It's down to LockMart-Boeing which have absorbed nearly all of their major competition and they are the ones who are in control of the information and any new samples. |
