Just so I'm upfront. I didn't listen to it all. But its true that Victorinus wrote some commentary on Revelation, and its true that Jerome later edited it. It is not true that this was done in secret or that there was some suppression campaign against Victorinus. If I remember right, Jerome even said that he was editing it to better reflect his own views. The video seemed to really try to play up some true crime angle to drive clicks. That's one of many reasons to not do research on youtube. |

If Jerome changed, censored, previous writings to reflct the churches current view, wouldn't that be worse than a YT video with a true crime approached? |
