Speaking of The Rockford Files, when I first moved to LA, a good buddy was two doors down from James Luisi who played Lt. Doug Chapman. I was kind of new in town, and he was one of the first people I ran into that I immediately recognized. I was kinda shocked that he lived in the same (sorta low rent) building as my friend. That was when I first realized that not everyone on TV is living large. The further down the cast list you are, the le$$.
Just looking at his IMDB, he continued to work occasionally after Rockford, and passed in 2002 at 73.  Attached File |

I legit already sent an inquiry to his lawyers asking for an intermediary to send money to, to buy Kyle a beer on my behalf, because I figure he probably won't drink an unsolicited mail beer.
