The original Elm Fork John Brown Gun Club Twitter account has been unsuspended. Andy Ngo and others had been complaining about the account's repeated violations of TOS, and midway through Elon Musk's acquisition of Twitter, they finally succeeded in getting the powers that be to take some action. Of course, a second account (Elm Fork JBGC) appeared almost immediately, but nobody seemed to care. The Sacramento Bee is "the largest newspaper in Sacramento, the fifth largest newspaper in California, and the 27th largest paper in the U.S." For that paper to claim, without equivocation or proof, that Kirk (or anyone else) has literally "called for the lynching of trans people" is pretty bold. And simply deleting that tweet isn't going to prevent legal action if they can’t back up that ugly accusation.
