On the aspect of damage from riots not being covered by insurance. Doesn't the local authority have to declare a riot for that to be a thing? Or are the companies relying on 3-5 (depending on various state languages) persona get together and commit a crime, and they call it a riot themselves?

Something else has also occurred to me. Seems that people are confusing "peaceable" and "peaceful" when it comes to assembly, where both are used interchangeably, but have distinct definitions. It's kind of like how we've heard "systemic" and "systematic" in regards to racism. Those, too, have distinct definitions. Albeit, what with these riots, neither peaceable or peaceful applies, it's a clear violation of what our Constitution has spelled out. Also, kind of like there's three parts to the Second Amendment, but people don't know how commas and phrases work. There's 39 people rolling in their graves right now.
