I was sleeping in my recliner downstairs. That problem has now been fixed but still was like...WTF... . I mounted the first side TV (49") on the left side. I was happy but then my OCD took over and the room wasn't balanced..... . So I bought an identical TV for the right side to match and I was now happy.... . As a note all three TV's are sony, the left and center TV's are on roku and the left is on a fire stick. Issues that I will have to live with. All three TV's use the same remote frequency (a dreaded miscalculation on my part.... ). If I go for intel gathering though its great..... The on/off/volume/mute....etc work on all the TV's at the same time..... The Roku helps, I can press the home button on the roku and it will turn on only that TV, with a clause. The clause is the roku remotes are also on the same frequency but are more directional so if I point directly at either unit it will turn on only that TV. If I accidentally point between either TV it will turn on both TV's. I could deal with this but when I mounted the right TV I needed a remote that was different totally so went with the fire stick option. When I got this setup working I learned that the fire stick remote "mimicked" the sony TV's signals for the TV controls..... Turning on the left TV will turn EVERYTHING on, or if something is on will turn it off.... I have learned to deal with the quirks, like be ready to turn the other TV(s) back on during a commercial or something if I needed the 3rd TV but usually it stays offline. I am not sure I would change it but somethings really caught me off guard. If any questions fire away.... That's fucking awesome. Thanks for sharing. |
