However, the charges Paxton has been facing for years (trial has constantly been delayed) are all state charges. As such Trump can not pardon him as Trump can only pardon Federally charged crimes. There are also no current charges for the October 2020 corruption complaints and even if their were they would be state level again, not Federal. According to the various complaints, Paxton uses his position to enrich himself but he counters that all of the complaints against him are politically motivated as he is a more right wing Republican and the complaints come from the more "center-right" Republicans in Texas. I don't know which one to believe, it ain't exactly uncommon for politicians to abuse their positions but the factionalism within the Texas GOP is very real. |

If you can find a buddy to hook a well up cheap, drill two. Put one on solar. Needs to have power or the access to have power run to it easily. You don't want to pay for miles of line and poles. Or do it all solar. Stick built pier and beam house with room for activities. Covered parking for cars and small travel trailer. Small shop with a climate controlled enclosure inside for more activities. Small range with good berm. 1/2 ton or 3/4 ton 4x4 primary vehicle. Small travel trailer for work. Build it up. Work towards your retirement. Sell it all to a late planner and move the fuck out of dodge. |
