Given the direction of things, I am becoming more interested in how to defeat thermal, to be honest. I will say if it comes down to searching for food on my own, hogs and other night time creatures usually don't have any invisible traits against thermal... Yes, I am pretty sure wild hog taste terrible but probably better than starving to death.
