Screw the details. It's just such a wonderfully great idea, that anybody that points out that it won't work, is some racist, cis-gender, moron that can't understand science. The science is settled. It will work. I saw it in a cartoon, and that's all the proof that is needed. You can't argue with cartoon science. Honestly, I think they are going to crash the power grid, with the increased load and poor planning. They object to any stable (not heavily dependent on weather) additions to electricity production, and there are already some cities that have had to resort to rolling blackouts. Add their compulsion for wanting everybody crammed into high density housing, which tends to not work all that well with the goal of lowering energy consumption, and there's no way this will work out, without some awesome levels of logistical planning that they have just never shown themselves capable of. |
