There were a few replies along the lines of yeah, it's mean, but those brainwashed retards deserve what they get, for causing so much trouble, and a long, long series of replies along the lines of that's all we've been fucking asking for, you get your vaccines if you want them, we don't, and you leave us the fuck alone. It's like they are from another planet, and can understand the words we say, but can't grasp the true intent conveyed by how they are strung together - they just guess at the meanings of the sentences, based on some words they recognize and what they would mean if they chose to put those words in a random sentence. They are that handicapped by their inability to understand concepts outside their groupthink. |

Like they think I'm sitting here saying there isn't a chance in hell someone's sticking a needle full of that shit into my kid's arm, but if all of a sudden they combine the offers of a free krispy kreme donut and a $100 savings bond, I'll be tripping over myself dragging my son down to the local vaccination clinic as fast as possible. That doesn't even account for the fact that at least for me, and I'm assuming many others, the harder they push this thing, the less I want it. I think anyone wanting it needed no convincing, maybe their stupid commercials and tiktok videos convinced a small amount of stragglers in the middle, but now the full court press is just causing everyone else to dig in that much harder against it. The complete glossing over of any potential negative side effect from the vaccines, after a year of hearing constant screeching about the most tangentially connected deaths to Covid, sure as hell isn't helping convince anyone either. |

Deadly force needs to be met with deadly force. It's like someone freaking out and making a 2am call to get a plumber to their house, "right now", because a busted pipe is flooding their basement. The plumber shows up, cuts the water off, sees that the water is slowly draining on it's own (level is dropping, now that water isn't pouring in) and that the repair will need parts that he doesn't have with him (and no plumbing supply stores are open at that time), so he leaves. The person that called the plumber then goes ballistic over their plumbing still being busted, them not having any water, and knowing they are going to have a pricey bill for a plumber having to rush over to their house at 2am. Completely ignoring the fact that they wanted the plumber there, "right now", because their basement was flooding, and it is no longer flooding. Almost nobody is a plumber at 2am, but everybody thinks they are a plumber, the next morning (even though they didn't have enough sense to just turn off the main valve and wait until 9am to make the call). |

Then there was one post that started off with the person saying they realized that their idea was rather mean, but maybe they should just get things to the point that they've vaccinated pretty much everyone that wants the vaccine, then open everything back up, and when the unvaccinated get sick and die, well that's just the fate they chose. There were a few replies along the lines of yeah, it's mean, but those brainwashed retards deserve what they get, for causing so much trouble, and a long, long series of replies along the lines of that's all we've been fucking asking for, you get your vaccines if you want them, we don't, and you leave us the fuck alone. It's like they are from another planet, and can understand the words we say, but can't grasp the true intent conveyed by how they are strung together - they just guess at the meanings of the sentences, based on some words they recognize and what they would mean if they chose to put those words in a random sentence. I agree, but I'll take the last part a step farther. Combining the known possible side effects of the vaccine (issues that have been reported in the news media, but they didn't dwell on them and described them as "rare") with my medical history, I view the vaccine as being roughly equal to putting a round in a revolver, spinning the cylinder, then putting it to my head and pulling the trigger. Odds may favor there not being any major problems, but there is a real possibility of a very bad outcome, for me. Their refusal to consider that possibility, doesn't make it go away, and I have been given no reason to view them as anything other than self-centered assholes that will not bother to consider whether or not they may have been wrong, if they somehow do end up forcing me to take the vaccine and it results in my death. Yet they keep saying I don't care about others, and my choices are putting them in danger ...while they also claim the vaccine is proven to protect them from the danger that I would supposedly create. It becomes a self-fulfilling prophesy, as I already see myself not caring if they die. |
