We had the State President of the Republican Party of Montana endorse Hillary in 2016 here (in MT). Then there are a significant number of posters here disrupt the site calling that person a "troll" simply for having a contrarian viewpoint. Because if a poster hates Trump, and will argue with people, suddenly now some people people consider him a "troll" and a "communist" - basically because they posts opinions they do not like, rather than coming to a point of disagreement like responsible adults and then resort to name calling, personal attacks and insults. Going forward, we as conservatives have to learn to bind together in common goals versus focusing on what our own differences are amongst our own kind. If I as a conservative Christian can learn to get together and strategize with a conservative transgender person to scare the shit out of the State of Virginia in Richmond on Lobby Day with tens of thousands of armed protesters, then we as this community can learn to get along better since even most of the commonly listed "Anti Trump trolls" are pro 2A and even held their nose and voted Trump, they deserve our support, respect and CIVIL disagreement as a member of this community, not personal attacks. ETA: That is where the left is beating us, they can set aside the differences in leftist policy disagreements between themselves aside until they get power, and then hash it out later. We need to learn how to do that. ETA2: Just for the record, I consider Trump the best President the U.S. has had since Reagan, and even Reagan fucked us on (some) gun rights. (post 86 MG's) |
