(Short Version) It's a dinner with Gold Collars sitting at the head of the lodge. (DDGM sitting in the East) The room is split down the center, the Gold Collars do a ritual of instruction and at it's conclusion a shot (wine or juice) is drunk and slammed to the table. The Gold collars decide who has made the most noise & banter at the conclusion, it's a spirited event with humorous trash talk flying across the room. Mind you this is still kept in check because Eastern Star are along with the brethren. If you had swords and a flask of mead, you'd likely fit in quite well with a Viking hoard. |
