Yeah. Yesterday was a shitshow.
101 was closed for hours by south city cause all the storm drains were clogged and we had a rising tide. |

If you shit in the streets do you really need to spend money on the sewer system? Modern solutions and all that.

That happens everywhere when there is a lot of rain and flooding. It's not because of liberals.

Why didn't they fix it while they were in a drought?
No excuse for being lazy and dumb. |

Our Combined Sewer San Francisco is the only coastal city in California with a combined sewer system that collects and treats both wastewater and stormwater in the same network of pipes. https://sfpuc.org/about-us/our-systems/sewer-system |

I bet all the tents, cardboard, etc, being washed into the system sure didn't help things.

Quoted: That happens everywhere when there is a lot of rain and flooding. It's not because of liberals. View Quote Maybe 40 years ago. Example Phoenix used to have horrible flooding. They created channels and canals to direct the water. Not saying it’s a conservative solution but there comes a point where you have to make choices. Extreme progressives consistently make bad choices. |

Another storm of the century? I had a work assignment there in 2017 and it rained from February until April. Had land slides everywhere. Don’t remember shit geysers though.

Combined sewer systems are extremely common. 860 of them serving 40 million people.
I wonder how many ARFcommers have cesspools or failed septic systems? |

Well, the solution is obvious. Their wastewater management department needs another diversity director.

Quoted: I thought the whole city was a sewer. View Quote It must be getting really rough in SanFrancissyco. I've seen three commercials on the TV for Rice-a-Roni of late. In over five decades on this planet i have never seen a commercial of that product where their famous jingle was not included. Now the new commercials leave off the "....The San Francisco Treat" part. |

I remember reading a number of years ago that they had a lot of issues with not enough water going through their sewer system.
They were one of the first places to mandate low flow toilets, and as such they didn’t have enough water going through the system to clear solid waste i. The system. The result was lots of backups, but I imagine this latest batch of rain cleared that right out. |

View Quote no, it's because of all of the trash, filth and liberals running the place. i've lived all over the us, never lived somewhere that had sewers shooting geysers when it rained. streets full of trash: become storm drains full of trash: become sewer runs full of trash: become liberal geysers. it is absolutely because of liberals |
