Old thread had some postings and speculation that Pelosi/Schumer were comp'd and turned for White Hats to use as needed. There have been incidents in the past which seemed to be over the top and taking things much further than needed - as it they were making deliberately stupid decisions.
Nancy Pelosi saw this coming and caved to her party anyway. But, noooooo, we get Beto saying "we're going to push in the doors and search the house and take your guns" type over the top deliberately inflammatory rhetoric, and much the same from others. Not to forget that El Chapo named Beto and Pelosi in open court as paid off. Comp'd? And flipped to be an asset. Measure and countermeasure. What better kind of movie role is there to be when you play the epitome evil character? The chain smoking Gestapo interrogator with little round glasses and a chain hanger for your expensive field coat? The sneering mustachio'd Oriental officer with sword brutalizing his prisoners? We have seen all these archetypes in fictional stories, it's been a cast of real evildoers of late - so intent on the destruction of Trump they appear to be almost virtual fiction. It's as if they were written into a script and then cast for the job. "You're watching a movie" and the Bad Guys keep putting a "better" foot forward than they previously were in real life. THINK about that. It's getting to the level of "Princess Bride meets Hunt for Red October." If people weren't going to hang for things, it would be getting funny about now. |

Facebook doing the same as Twitter and removing all "political ads". Those companies most likely found something about official ads they cannot censor, since they already know that they can easily censor people they don't like. Right now it's in England, but I do not doubt they will expand it here. And look who "reported the issue": Huffpost UK
 Facebook says it has taken down government advertising that was accused of targeting voters in marginal election constituencies. The social media firm said the ads "were not correctly labelled" and did not include the obligatory disclaimer. Brazil police arrest man said to be one of world's most prolific human traffickers
Brazilian federal police said they have arrested Saifullah Al-Mamun, born in Bangladesh and considered by authorities one of the world’s most prolific human traffickers.
In an operation conducted on Thursday after collaboration with U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE), Brazilian police arrested members of a group allegedly implicated in a large scheme of smuggling people into the United States. Several arrests were made in Sao Paulo, where Al-Mamun was living, and in three other Brazilian cities. The police also froze 42 bank accounts it says were used by the group to finance their activities. Al-Mamun entered Brazil six years ago as a refugee, and was living in Bras, a diverse neighborhood in Sao Paulo that is home to immigrants from around the world. He has been indicted on U.S. charges. According to the United States Department of Justice, Al-Mamun is alleged to have housed people coming from Southeast Asia in São Paulo and arranged for their travel through a network of smugglers operating in Peru, Ecuador, Colombia, Panama, Costa Rica, Nicaragua, Honduras, Guatemala and Mexico. According to Brazilian police, he and his group were smuggling into Brazil, and then to the United States, people from Afghanistan, Bangladesh, India, Nepal and Pakistan. They were sent to Brazil’s northern Acre state to start a long and dangerous trip through Central America all the way to the Mexican border, to cross into the United States. White House Freezes Military Aid to Lebanon, Against Wishes of Congress, State Dept. and Pentagon
The Trump administration has frozen all military aid to the Lebanese army, including a package worth $105 million that both the State Department and Congress approved in September, congressional officials said Friday.
The halt to American funding of the Lebanese Armed Forces, an important multisectarian group, comes at a critical time for Lebanon, as officials are grappling with the country’s largest street protests since its independence in 1943 and a change in leadership forced by the demonstrations. A freeze on the assistance could give Iran and Russia an opening to exert greater influence over the Lebanese military, analysts say, and perhaps even allow the Islamic State and Al Qaeda to gain greater footholds in the country. The delivery of military aid, especially in cases that involve White House intervention, has become a delicate and divisive issue in Washington. Congressional committees are overseeing an impeachment inquiry into whether President Trump held up $391 million in military aid to Ukraine in an effort to coerce Ukrainian leaders to do political favors for him. Though the president has denied it, senior administration officials have testified that there was indeed a quid pro quo, and the top American diplomat in Ukraine said he sent a cable telling Secretary of State Mike Pompeo that it was “folly” to withhold the aid. The Pentagon and State Department pressed for the aid for the Lebanese Armed Forces, congressional aides said, and officials in both departments say the military organization is an important bulwark against extremist elements and armed factions of Hezbollah, the Iran-backed Shiite group that has political and military wings. But officials on the national security staff at the White House recently asked the Office of Management and Budget to freeze all aid to the Lebanese military, two congressional officials said Friday.
