There's a coffee place on Washington near my place in Houston. Every weekend there's crazy cars there. On Saturday the lady and I were sitting at the HEB curbside waiting for our groceries and a GT3 RS, an old school NSX and a pair of Mclarens drove by one after the other. I looked over and there was a Ford GT and a Lexus LFA sitting at the red light. She didn't understand my erection. |

After over 2,000,000 miles I've seen just about everything on the road at some point. The craziest in recent memory was a McLaren Senna hooning it through traffic on I-35 in San Antonio of all places. There's a guy in Houston with a dry cleaning empire that has a legendary Ferrari collection. Many years ago I ended up next to him at a light on a Houston surface street. I was on a literbike, he was in his F40. The light changed; we hit it. I beat him handily, of course. He pulled into a gas station not far ahead and I followed him. He said, "I knew you'd beat me. But this car gets more pussy."

We were walking towards the cars and there were three track workers moving this big tall cart loaded with gear. Two were pushing and one steering. Where that grey 959 was, I guess the asphalt had a slope because that cart got about half a foot from bashing into it. The workers weren’t paying attention and the cart started to roll. As a group, my buddies and I started to yell ‘Wo Wo Wo’ and one of them jumped in front of the car/cart at the last minute while the other two pushing started to pull it back. They all gave a nervous laugh and one of them called themselves idiots and they decided to take a different route around the millions of dollars of cars. |

I miss Sonoma. Had a friend with a co-worker with connections who would get us pit passes to Indy yearly. Put on a tour bus with free booze and food, under $100 for the package. Btw Danica is rude, but does answer her trailer door if you're a mayor and slurring enough. The vintage historics race is amazing, the fact that people drive million+ dollar cars that close to the limit is nuts. And the sound. |

I haven't seen a T50 before, so that one is definitely new. Was thinking "the front looks different on that F1... ohh, cool!" I think they tried to shoo a lot of people away a couple of years ago because it was getting out of hand with 'tards, as things do sometimes. |
