Meet Frankie !! He is around 10 yrs old , 7ibs and a little old man who just want to sit in a lap and be spoiled!!  He has a enlarged heart and a few other medical problems , I will make sure he stays comfortable as long as he is here, he is to old to be put under so he will stay with me till it’s time to cross the rainbow bridge! He is definitely smaller than the rest of my pack but I won’t let him be disappointed by humans in his last days!  He does have kennel cough from being at the shelter unvaccinated, so please wish me luck !! He has to be away from the other dogs till he is better, it’s not good for his little body so please say a little pray for him!!  I can’t change his past but I can make sure his future is amazing |

   Winnie is an old little lady, she isn’t doing well, I took her to the vet a few weeks ago and they found a tumor, with her size and age they were unable to remove it , but gave her some medicine to help keep her comfortable! Unfortunately her tumor has tripled in 4 weeks and I believe her kidneys are shutting down. She’s going to the vet Thursday to get check out and to give me advice on what is best for her! I won’t let her suffer but she is very close to my heart! Mine and Marks friend Jodi gave her to me after she passes away . Winnie has definitely been living it up the past couple weeks , she went to a festival, park, creek , shopping and out to eat!! She hasn’t had dog food in weeks lol just eating the best of foods and anything she wants she gets lol Winnie might not be the typical dog that I rescue but she has definitely stolen my heart ! |

Since we have more seniors in our hospice program we started a GFM just for the seniors!! Awwww... that one old lady was completely derptastic. :-) It kind of makes me sad though, hearing their ages and realizing my boys just turned 14.

It’s been a few weeks and is still unbelievably hard to say out loud but I had to put Winnie down, her tumor has completely taking over her and she was in pain I couldn’t watch her suffer for my selfishness of how much I didn’t want to say good bye to her! She was so much more than just a dog to me , she was my goblin and my bat girl…. Just give your dogs a big hug tonight!! I know Mark and Jodi will keep her company till I get back to her !
