This absolutely.

When Marx reissued this set about 25 years ago, I bought one at Toys'R'Us.

My 10-year old son was with me, who already had a collection of dinosaur toys (like below) from Dave's Prehistoric Rock Shop.

He was not impressed.

Totally would have been my favorite toy, but wasn't.

Fortunately my mom saved EVERYTHING from when I was a kid.

It’s fun seeing my own children play with the same stuff I used to, on the same floor/fireplace/etc.

These were probably the most special for me….Jurassic Park T Rex, Monsters in my Pocket (way before Pokemon), Micro Machines Star Wars, and 90s Star Wars action figures (I built the pit for my kids)

I still have all of my Jurassic Park toys and Monster in My Pockets, too. The only pic I have of any of them is this of a few of my JP dinosaurs.

I should have sold them a few years ago when just those pictured would have fetched ~$2k. Now? Not so much.

Did you lose the Dino Damage piece from your T-Rex? People make reproduction pieces now. There's apparently a market for it with the originals commanding a premium.

@Clockwork138

Dude that red and black "Carnotaurus" is worth a shitload of money....after my parents died, I was cleaning out their attic and found the box from my old one. It was in near perfect shape, again this is just the box, the dino was long gone.

I sold the BOX on ebay for nearly $500 and had bidders from all around the world clamoring for it.

You ought to consider selling it and buying something cool with it haha

And yea the damage piece is long gone

Yeah, the Carno with box and all accessories still goes for close to $2k. The prices dropped significantly with the economy, though. I might be able to get $300-400 for it since I still have all the "capture gear" and "dino damage", but I missed-out when they were going for twice that. The Omega T-Rex in the center were selling for several hundred, too. Now, a fraction of that.

I still plan to sell nearly all of my old toys. Just waiting for a potentially better time. I'm also hesitant to deal with selling them on eBay since the introduction of the reproduction dino damage pieces. I can see a scammer with a repro piece claiming I sold them a dino with the repro and not the advertised original. The original piece significantly increases the value.

I remember when Wild Bill from this toy burned up in another toy plane when I emptied about 50 black cat firecrackers into a single container inside and lit it.

Good times.

I had the G.I. Joe mercury capsule and the major Matt Mason crawler.
I also had an M14 and a .45 that shot plastic bullets that you'd put on the cartridge.  Someone posted a photo of it once, and it brought back lots of happy memories.
