Ok finally got to some of the updates we have been working on! Here we go... Bug Fixes - Fix for store logins due to security upgrades on site - Fix to Amazon links - ARL fix for margin problem (non breaking text) - Fixed Bug with quote spacing/line breaking - Fixed bug with deal creation - Fixed bug with invalid timezones causing zombie errors - Fixed bug with feedback form - Fixed bug with homepage videos - Fixed random 500 error on deal page - Fixed issue with captcha images not showing properly (caching issue) - Fixed 200 error issue with image uploads - Fixed password restriction which caused secure generated passwords to not be accepted by arfcom - Fixed issue with Cabela's links being broken Everyone - Blocking mentions from people on ignore list - Added Instagram Embedding for posts (it's in the editor!) - Added IP address with newsletter signups for folks to know who signed them up (security issue) - Added green line under anchor points in threads (did this a while ago, but forgot to add to the update info!) - We have opened registrations to Gmail accounts - New ad system is live for testing (just for in thread ads, page top/bottom ads still on old system) Staff / Mods - Moderator reporting tool (Will list all users who are mods and their assigned forums) - Moderator cleanup tool (works with the above!) NEW FUNCTIONALITY!!!!! ===================== - Added THREAD RATING (Tagging) which allows you to assign a Thumbs Up/Down via a tag. Each tag basically categorized the post. (If you want new tags, let us know and we can add more!) Tags are things like EPIC for an epic thread, TECH for quality technical reading, TROLL for threads meant to create problems, and so forth. Tagging is only allowed at the Team levels and once a thread has 10 votes of the same type, the tag will show on the topic page with the thread subject. The idea here is to quickly point out threads worthy of mention for whatever reason it qualifies for. Up to 3 tags will show for a thread so you can have a combination of EPIC/FUNNY thread or even an EPIC/TROLL thread. We will see how the system is used and if it's worth expanding, adjusting display requirements, etc. This covered just about everything big. As always there are design tweaks, color tweaks, and so forth! |

Your phone is displaying them to you in a different way than how they are "really" stored. I've noticed that on my iPhone before. The solution was to make sure I always took photos the "right" way. Even though the iPhone makes it look like any orientation is fine, I found that if you take a picture "the wrong way" and then move that picture somewhere else, it displays sideways or upside down everywhere but on the phone. The phone is orienting the picture automatically for you when you view it, but it isn't actually oriented that way. If that makes sense. If you take a landscape photo, make sure you do it with the volume buttons down and not up. Even though the upward orientation puts them in the perfect location to act as a camera shutter.

Yes iPhone. Thumb home button is always at the bottom or if landscape to the right. |
