“Every record has been destroyed or falsified, every book rewritten, every picture has been repainted, every statue and street building has been renamed, every date has been altered. And the process is continuing day by day and minute by minute. History has stopped. Nothing exists except an endless present in which the Party is always right.”

I don’t have a problem with a statue celebrating the end of slavery. Who cares if a Democrat likes it or not. The abolition of slavery is a point of American pride.

Shit, I live an hour from there and wasn't aware of the new statue.

And the thread about China taking over Taiwan and then America says it would be a bad thing.

They couldn't finds a black sculptor for this?
White Supremacy strikes again! White Privilege is once again rampant in our cities of Color! Am I doing this right? |
|
What about the statue of Bill Cosby? I thought they were going to put up a statue of Bill Cosby?

The concept of slavery as an intrinsically immoral practice is product of white, Western, European, Christian, culture. Period.
If you wanted to acknowledge historical reality, that statue should have been a couple of blacks folks thanking a white person. |

I’m surprised it’s not just a woman and a baby.
Mayor Stony has all but destroyed Richmond. |

what we need is 4chan to start the rumor that these are white supremacists and then watch the retards rip these down too.

Quoted: Congrats Richmond and all of Virginia!... View Quote For what? I have only been in Virginia for 10 years and have watched it decline rapidly. Richmond, specifically. Want to talk about a shithole. Monument blvd WAS beautiful. A true walk down southern history. Now, everything is an eyesore. The ruins of statues. Not just Monument blvd, but it is just as bad as the rest of the city. People begging for money more than before. Anger all over the place. Its pathetic. Yep, tearing down the statues has really helped and blaming others has really helped out their community. These democrats are doing a bang up job (sarcasm). |

The modern race pimps have to destroy and cover up white people helping blacks, why? Because it spoils the narrative that they're fighting the worst racism ever in the modern day. |

Ironic symbolism of the father with his back to his wife and baby as if he is leaving them… or is that just coincidence?
|
|
Is she just holding that baby to keep it comfortable while Northam and the family have a conversation?

They should put up a statue honoring Saint George, the patron saint of fentanyl.

View Quote View All Quotes View All Quotes Quoted: Is Virginia even a state anymore??? I actually lived in Virginia for a couple years back in the late 70's. Man what a fucked up place it turned in to. it's a culturally-red state dominated by Democrat-voting people in a few concentrated areas. They get to exert their will over the entire goddamn state. Reynolds v. Sims was a fucked-up decision that led to this shit. Basically, densely-populated localities get to dominate people in rural areas. In a majority opinion joined by five other justices, Chief Justice Earl Warren ruled that the Fourteenth Amendment's Equal Protection Clause requires states to establish state legislative electoral districts roughly equal in population. Warren held that "legislators represent people, not trees or acres. Legislators are elected by voters, not farms or cities or economic interests." ... The decision had a major impact on state legislatures, as many states had to change their system of representation. so even though it's only a few cities/counties who are blue in VA, because they have more people they get to tell the hinterlands how it's gonna be. |

View Quote Remember when they paid china to make the MLK monument statue? "The statue, Politico's Roger Simon notes, "was sculpted in China by a Chinese sculptor out of Chinese granite and shipped to the United States where it was assembled by Chinese workers." While The Statue of Liberty was sculpted by a Frenchman in France, he concedes, "it was a gift to the United States and celebrated a concept, not an actual human being who lived and died in America and for America." The Telegraph points out that some have "even remarked that Dr. King appears slightly Asian." |
