I overheard liberal nurses on Tuesday morning talking about how their husbands said they need to buy one extra gun for her and start stockpiling canned foods because the s*** was going to hit the fan.
I had mixed emotions. Should I encourage them to buy more guns, and do more prepping, or should I tell them to ignore that and see what happens. Surely their husbands will protect them. |

I went by my LGS today. They said they were busy all day on Election Day, but it's been dead since then.
Looked at a used model 94 Winchester that was marked 30 WCF. On consignment for $750. I think by spring there will be a bunch of sales if the dems don't go nuts and cause a bunch of crap. |

We are already in a slump and it will only accelerate. Prices will be dropping over time and businesses will be closing/consolidating.
It will take a massive decrease in cost of living to stop a major slump, or another pandemic like event. |

i see it slowing down as some will not be in a hurry to make a purchase now they are pretty safe from new gun laws.I bought some ammo and reloading stuff last couple months and even a lower i had planned to by anyways just to beat a possible panic buy period
With a trump win i think most will not worry about making that spur of the moment purchase and prices drop. |

Unless other areas of consumer spending due to inflation ease up, I don’t think there’s enough discretionary income in the US to really support another extended panic like 2013 or 2020.
I think industry is going to have to either be a PSA and make a volume play while dabbling in innovation or Sig and aggressively target gov/gucci sales markets. PSA will probably get the chance to pick up a few more brand names to add to their portfolio by the end of 2025. I’d like to see the ammo players kicked in the nards pretty hard; I really don’t buy their excuses for the constant price hikes. No, I don’t have evidence of collusion or price fixing beyond having seen similar things in the tech industry over the years with the same mealy-mouthed excuses. It will be tough overall though. |

Bankruptcies then consolidations into mega corps that get bought out by sovereign wealth funds that are shells for the CCP,
All industry owned by China & cheapened before pumped into debt bubble with final dissolution via bankruptcy court where a different CCP company buys the manufacturing IP & equipment shipping it to China.
