These charities work closely with the families of fallen warriors. TNVC will not take money for these items. In fact, no funds will pass through our hands. AR15.com will collect all monies at the close of auction and distribute them to the above organizations. There are two lots up for auction, divided by Size 1 (M/L) and Size 2 (XL). They contain numerous items including ballistic helmets, bump helmets, retrofit pad kits, and chin straps. We realize that not everyone needs all of the items included in these lots. That’s why you are free to do whatever you want with the products if you win. Sell them, donate them, have tons of spares… Bidding will start at $1 for each lot. Each lot is worth over $7,000.00. If they go for $1.00, they go for $1.00. We are asking that people bid from the heart, knowing that all the funds will be donated to help the families of fallen warfighters who died far from home. ================================= RULES: To keep things simple and concise, post your bid and which lot it's for on it's own line i.e. : Size 1 Lot (M/L) : $100 If you're bidding on both, just include two separate lines: Size 1 Lot (M/L) : $100 Size 2 Lot (XL) : $100 Each followup bid should increase the amount in whole dollar increments. Any increases in bids should be new posts and no one should edit their previous bids. This way the amounts will increase chronologically and there will be no confusion. Listing both lots in this same thread will complicate things a slight bit, so read carefully and make sure you're increasing the right amount for the lot you're interested in. We'll let this run a couple of weeks (end of the month?), or until bidding slows down or stops. We'll post a definite stop time several days ahead of time as it gets closer just to make sure everyone is aware. Remember the goal here is to raise as much money as possible for the charities that benefit the families of our elite soldiers. In turn the winners will get a kick-ass collection of gear worth at least $7000 per lot.
