We are traveling and stopped in today at the South Dakota Air and Space Museum. We ran across this display: Attached File Attached File Maybe someone has posted this before, but I haven't seen it. There was a 20 inch in a display a few feet away. I had to smile. RIP. |
Man ....  He was by far one of my favorite arfcommers. We were the same age, I really struggled as a youth in almost every way. Sometimes he would post about his service, especially towards the end of his career and it would make me wonder how my life could have been better in my 20s and early 30s if I had been more like him and less of a screw up early on. I was really sad to hear of his passing. |

Damn. I can’t believe it’s been two years. I thought it was last year. It makes me very sad and somewhat angry that he’s gone. Especially because he had a whole life of retirement in front of him. Knowing what he was going through was heartbreaking and when I heard he passed I was very angry even though I never met him in person. If I ever am in the area I’ll visit this museum. |
