Miles emphatically signaling to his QB to spike the ball (despite there being one second on the clock) and then after the game Miles threw his QB under the bus claiming he never signaled for his QB to spike the ball and he had no idea why he did that because “obviously you can’t spike the ball when there is one second left.” Vern’s “WHAT ARE THEY DOING, WHAT ARE THEY DOING” was hilariously perfect.
