I have 2 pairs (1 black, 1 brown) of leather shoes that to me are quite nice and I’d like to keep them that way. I got them while in Italy for about €100 each so I know they aren’t high end but I like them. What are good brands of shoe polish/shoe conditioner and are there other things needed to keep them nice? I also have a pair of brown leather Sonoma brand shoes I wear to work. The leather on these is clearly not quality but I’d like to make them look decent and can practice polishing them so I don’t screw up my nice shoes. I’m not looking for a mirror shine on any of these but would like for them to look good and last as long as possible. Thanks for any tips/tricks. |
| My experience with Saphir Medaille d'Or was not good. When it was delivered from Amazon, the tin looked like it had been run over by a German tank. The tin was crushed, and the polish was dried out. I melted what was left of it to make it usable, but I wasn't impressed. I may give it another try, but for the price, I doubt it. |
