Well since it was Les Paul’s birthday let’s break em out and show em. Gibson, Epiphone, whatever, let’s see them. No outright counterfeits please.

I’ll start. Here’s one of mine. It’s string change month for me so I’ll post more as I get to them.

My '79 Artist modified to sound good by pulling the trash Moog electronics and installing Rio Grandes.  I think I'm on my third set of frets?  Maybe fourth?  I play it a lot.

Kind of a bargain if you think about it. Considering John Lennon’s lost Framus 12 string sold recently for just shy of $3m and Kurt Cobain’s Martin sold for $6m.

Probably best. I have another tobacco burst with one on anyway. I actually did the finish myself. It’s a 2014 LPM and came with a shitty looking satin perimeter burst that got scratched really bad.

That’s absolutely beautiful!

I’ve been pretty impressed with Epiphone over the past 5 or 10 years or so. I had one in the mid 90’s with a birdseye maple top and clear finish. It looked good but the quality wasn’t quite there.

I do have an Epiphone double neck now and it’s pretty good. Just takes forever and a day to tune it and it’s awkward to play.

My luthier won't touch them otherwise I would!  I play with heavy vibrato and judo fingers so I wear them out pretty quickly.  It doesn't help that I like them short to begin with so I only get one dressing usually.

Holy shit.

That guitar with no pick guard is pure sex.

I'm a bass player, so no Pauls, but I have had several of the hard cases-- great discreet carry for a CAR-15 from back in the Day, though there is a bit more room in a Strat case, but then they get heavy fast.

Can’t play a guitar at all and can barely play bass. These LPs are absolutely gorgeous…any flavor.

That’s just so he can keep making money on refretting your guitars I bet.

Well to be clear he *will* do it but I have to pay his hourly rate for it which would make it cost about the same as a neck reset LOL.  Stainless frets take a lot more time to do right and outside of getting them roughed on something like a Plek I can't imagine wanting to take the time, either.

I would have bought ever single hard shell case they had at that price and flipped them on Reverb. Probably the soft ones too.

I'm not who you asked, but I have a Custom Shop Explorer and an Epiphone Moderne. The Explorer is surprisingly comfortable to play but, even having said that, I prefer the Moderne. It looks like it would be big and clunky, but it's actually super lightweight. At least it feels like it. I've never actually weighed it.

I went with the Epiphone rather than the Gibson because I like the grain of the Korina they use better.

I’ve been interested in getting a Moderne as well. It looks like it would be more comfortable to play than a V.
