It makes a really good woods walking gun and is amazingly accurate. Trigger is great. My S/O is about 100lbs and most rifles just don't work for her at all. She loves the Keltec. 22 magnum reaches out as far as you can see in the woods. Good job Keltec. |

I wouldn't mind getting one. My cousin has the PMR-30 pistol and likes it.

The CP33 is on my short list. Prolly get a CMR-30 eventually.

Mine was very happy w/ 40 grn loads. Had issues w/ feeding 30 grns - which they warn you about in the manual.

I'm curious... Is that a reciprocating bolt?
(I could look it up, but it's easier to ask here.) |

Awesome gun
Use 40 grain or higher ammo and a good speed loader to make sure the rounds seat correctly in the mag. PMR30 also very cool |

Just installed the upgrade pack in my PRM-30. Haven't had a chance to shoot it yet, but if nothing else, replacing the plastic feed ramp with metal should make it 100% more reliable.
They have a CMR-30 upgrade for the trigger, and an upgraded mag release if that's giving you problems. |

I love mine, I love the CP-33 too. I don’t understand why there isn’t a CP30 in WMR and CMR-33 in .22lr though. The mag bodies are interchangeable, changing the chambering should be cake.

I have the PMR, need to get one of these and a bunch more magazines.
For anyone who doesn't want to (or can't) SBR it, there is an extended handguard available. |

I would have bought one years ago if someone made an extended mag for it. It just doesn't look right with a flush mag.

Arguably the rifle version of the CP-33 is called a "CP-33", with a brace added. I have the adapter and brace and it’s ok, but not nearly as ergonomic as the forward charging handles and sliding stock on the CMR. No reason the stock on the CMR couldn’t be a brace either, they could ship it in a pistol version with suitable length barrel. |

If I had a .22MAG rated rimfire can I'd be SBRing or "pistoling" a CMR-30.

Anyone who owns one her have problems with ammo reliability?

But a very handy .22 WMR carbine if you keep to 40 grn loads. |

I’m the odd ball here, I’m left handed and with the mask threaded on I get so much gas in my face it sucks. I tossed it in the back of the safe after about 10 mags and will let my kids play with it when they are older if they want it. If they don’t I guess it will stay back there until I die.

I am so NOT a fan of KelTec products for a few reasons.
This CMR 30 is the only one that I would ever think about diving into. Neat thread. |
|
My BHO broke on mine but it still functions 100% super fun to shoot. My CMR 30 still is 100% but my CP33 is quickly eating its buffer which will probably fail soon. It almost looked 3d printed but it's a very early production model.
When they release a CP33 carbine I'll be getting one. |
|
I haven’t gotten my cmr-30 to run that well yet with probably less than 10 mags through it but it’s still a hoot and so handy to manipulate.
I recently added the mag release and feed ramp along with a mag loader so I’m hoping that will help out. It’s still fun enough even with the problems and eventually I’ll still SBR it. The cp33 has been flawless as long as you pay attention to the mag loading properly. With the brace and suppressor it’s amazing, and a perfect gun for introducing a new shooter. |

How much performance do you lose SBRing the 22 mag? I like the guns, just haven't had a chance to handle one yet.

Neat gun.
The rifle ballistics are pretty good for its size. Pistol loses quite a bit though. 22 Mag - Rifle VS Pistol - Chronograph Ammo Testing Kel-tec needs a 5.7x28 version! |

I might go down to 12" after seeing that. |
