The host, Indy.  The Great War channel is under different leadership at the moment.  Indy went on to create a new team to do WW2 and now Korea.

Neat. I'll need to check it out. If I remember correctly, The Great War channel was run by a production company out of Berlin.

The "The Great War" series and the "World War Two" series are both fantastic. I am looking forward to the Korean War series that just started up yesterday.

Cool OP

My dad was in the NY ANG and was slated to deploy to Korea but it was decided to keep his unit back in case they were needed for riot control.

His buddies told him that he would be the first to be killed because he was a machine gunner.

He told me that story a few years back. I never knew that he was a machine gunner and thought that was cool as that was my son’s MOS in the Corps.

He finished his military service in the USAF. He passed on 4/20/2019

I've been to Korean War Museum in Seoul a few times.

I'm watching this series. The first episode is very informative, like the WW2 and Great War content. Subbed and thanks for the recommendation, OP!

One of the highlights of my career was working on a Korean War documentary for the building of the Korean War Veterans Memorial in D.C.

We traveled all over interviewing vets, and we interviewed Charles Smith at his home in AZ.

He was haunted by that mission.

RIP, BG Smith.

You def arent wrong.  Unkillable Soldier is a great story and the band constantly trying to kill Indy in the video is tongue in cheek genius.

Was mentioned in another thread that those failures are why the US Army trains like it does today and holy shit do I understand now.
