The BEST part about the yellow paint is that in addition to being a really nice yellow (I think this version is called Racing Yellow), it is a FREE "standard" color. (at least it was when I ordered mine). I had been thinking about the "premium" colors like Miami Blue and Lava Orange, and even briefly flirted with the much more expensive PTS colors (specifically Ultraviolet) - but I have always loved yellow, so the fact that I could get the color I wanted, and not have to pay a penny for it, was pretty awesome. Helped pay for some more yellow stitching. |

I’m pretty sure I’m picking my car up tomorrow from having the Xpel Stealth wrap with stripes. The part that is a little frustrating is the rear bumper emblems. They left them off stating “they couldn’t get them back on straight” and “the emblem templates cost thousands of dollars” Which of course they don’t. I bought one tonight from Suncoast for less than $200. I’ll do it myself, which is fine. I just don’t get the logic. Why not buy the template and add it to the cost of the job? At the price for a full wrap, $200 isn’t anything. And you now have a template for that car that you can use over and over and over… I’m probably being stupid. Anyway…..the wrap looks fucking killer. Can’t wait to get it home. Attached File |

I was in the market for wife’s new suv. Wanted the Cayenne Turbo GT with body colored accents to replace the matt plastic trim surrounding wheel arches and trim below doors. Also wanted the sports design package that is available on lesser versions of suv. Price before my requests was approaching 240k and was told nope, can’t be done. Granted I could paint/wrap parts that I found objectionable but I don’t want to do that. Placed order for Audi’s new RSQ8 performance that just unseated the Cheyenne GT as worlds fastest SUV. For those who are unaware, the Audi, Porsche and Lamborghini share same platform, owned by same company. Odd that they allowed the entry level version of platform to take the pole position for 2/3 of the price of Cayenne. |

People buy the Cayenne because it’s a Porsche and some of the intangibles that come with that. The depreciation is also better on the Cayenne than the RSQ8. |

I have bought 5 Audis, 2 Porsches and 1 Lamborghini since 2001. I know what I am getting into and could care less about depreciation as I have handed them down to family members as I get new ones.
Audis were better for WA weather due to awd but now that I spend 9 months year in Florida, trending towards Porsche and Lamborghini. If I followed specs/trends I would not have ordered one of the last Evo spyders rolling off the production line. It’s already obsolete compared to what else is out there at half the price. Don’t care, love the way it looks. |
