First the Tequila / Mescal thread (that cost me $1000 in about 3-weeks) now this.....! Alright - my first ever Bourbon pickups are a bottle of Woodward Reserve and a bottle of Knob Creek - easy pickings at WalMart. Going to need to ease into this so give me a couple good / simple mix recipes. Please. And now to start down this rabbit hole.....

Got a bottle of this just to see what it tastes like. It's okay nothing special. Not as good as the black. Attached File And they had a bottle of Eagle Rare for $10 more than a single barrel 4 Roses.

Did the same thing a year later and scored another. It was the one location in AL they wouldn't let people camp out. Our state has one day a year "bourbon day", it's the only day you can find Pappy, btac, and the like, here. But if you get it, it's at msrp. Now they've gone to a lottery for a spot at the head of the line. |

I filled this from the big bottle I posted earlier for easier access. The big one lives at the bottom of the chest freezer and this one now lives in the refrigerator/freezer.
