I'm not sure if I've ever seen a Patek in the watch picture threads on this site. So this announcement might be utterly irrelevant here.

This thing seems to be really riling people up. A lot of watch nerds declared that it is so ugly that it had to be a prank or a mockup that somehow escaped Patek's advertising department. Personally I like how it looks but then I do like square watches like the Nomos Tetra and Cartier Santos. Its an odd design but at least they are trying something different.

Either way I don't expect to own one and with all the hype that has already been built up you probably won't be able to get one for several years.

I like it  A watch doesn't need to be round. Just needs to have functions I like.

I was going to link to the GD thread... then I realized it was yours.

I’m a fan of tank watches and love the Bell and Ross or the Cartier styles but this watch just is bad. Patek is an awesome company with a cool history but this is terrible

This thing is super ugly.  It is sure to be a classic one day.
