I remember seeing it mentioned on IMDB but it didn’t have any details. I never saw it growing up but Amazon has the first couple seasons so I checked it out. Seems highly likely they will mess it up.

The new one will suck. You can't capture the awesome of the 80s shows. It was a time and a place. You can't recreate that.
I watched some of the old episodes (same with A-Team, Dukes of Hazzard, etc.) and holy shit I didn't remember (or notice at the time) how low quality the production value or the the stories were. That is not what made it fucking awesome. I was a kid and I just wanted to be Colt Seivers, or BA Barachus, or Cooter(I set my sights pretty low on that one  ) they need to leave it alone and try to make something new for his generation. |
