If you don't need surround sound/decoding for a home theater and just need a 2.1 stereo system for the backyard with some bookshelf speakers, these two are definitely good contenders and they won't break the bank. Save your money for better speakers. Clean sound, compact and well built with L/R jacks and Bluetooth if you want to use that. I stick with these because they don't get hot like some of the other models. I had a couple leftover Jamo surround speakers and picked up a similar Fosi unit on Amazon for my aptop setup in the garage office, sound is pretty darn good. Attached File |

Arylic has an amp board as well as a plate version (both 2.1 channel). They are rated at 2x50 at 4 ohms and 1x100 at 2 ohms for the sub. I just 3D printed a case for my plate amp so I can test it. All of the amps probably share the same amp circuit but Arylic adds a lot more if you need it. LAN streaming, optical audio in and even a USB port so it acts as a DAC(outboard audio decoder) for your PC. |

Have had one for a couple years using some Jamo bookshelf speakers that came as satellites i didn't use. Attached File Plenty good enough for the gunroom/office. |
