IMO too many tattoos in too many places takes away rather than adds to a attractive woman.

I also think tattoo removal will be a big business in 10-15 years.

Tramp stamps were the big thing 20 years ago. Saw the thigh tattoos start a few years ago in CA (where most bad fads start). Look how good the tramp stamps look after all these years! You don't see anyone showing off their tramp stamps anymore. Same will be the case in a few years with the thigh tats. Yeah, thigh tat on cottage cheese thighs!

Most of the business isn't total removal, just lightening so it's easier to cover with another tattoo.

I got my my first tattoos at age 74 just before my 75th birthday.
First one is of my daughter who passed in 94 at the age of 13.
Second is an organization that helps troubled vets and tries to bring the problem of vet suicide before the public eye.
Both on my arm.

I’d argue that due to the rapid prevalence, thigh tattoos are indeed likely the next tramp stamp.  It’s not a matter of being prudish either, some like tats, some don’t.  There’s nothing wrong with expressing opinion one way or the other.

I for one fucking hate them.  Everyone’s ink looks great in their 20’s.  We all age though, and eventually that canvas of yours is going to look like someone threw wadded up napkins of paint at you.

That is because total removal is a rarity. I knew a Mexican guy in the Corps that had a full sleeve Virgin Mary themed piece removed. It looked like Mary was sunburned onto his arm. That was the best it could be removed.

I’ve looked into opening a tattoo removal business. Each state is different but here in Gods own Commonwealth you require an attending physician but it’s vauge if they actually need to be on site. The laser is 40k and it’s a 2 week training class to run it that is included in the price.

I figure another 10k in startup costs to setup the treatment room and “clinic”. Minimum staff would be the removal tech, a receptionist/scheduler and the attending physicians fee. No idea on insurance cost.

Many states require an RN do the removal.

I was talking to a Major in the J5 when I was in Afghanistan a few months ago and somehow this topic came up (Go Figure).  We started talking tramp stamps and then he threw out the "skank plank" for the thigh tat.  Stuck in my head from then on.

Bullshit false equivocation.  Saying that one does not like something or that it looks like shit is not the same thing as “stop doing it because I don’t like it”.

Not at all.  I'm going to articulate what I see as the consensus of this group, generally speaking.

We don't hate freedom, and certainly wouldn't want a law passed that forbade thigh tattoos on women under age 35 without a psychological exam.   That would be to hate freedom and to be all up in other people's business.

But we will judge you.  And that's ok.  Passing judgement on people is lizard brain important.  Sure we can take it too far, ie KKK, Black Panthers, Westboro, et al.  But we need to judge the people we encounter in life to survive and to achieve goals that we idealize as positive for ourselves.

phatmax nailed it.  An individual who exhibits X is most likely Y, generally speaking.

It is absolutely ok to have a self perception of being "better" than someone else.  To aspire to be better each new day than you were yesterday is the literal definition of improving.   Realize that we are not all intellectual equals, emotional equals, etc and that all souls are at different points of learning in their own path.  You can see yourself as being further down that path of growth, but respect the other travelers and let them have their own existence separate from yours.

If you do this you will find that your life will be mostly free of bad circumstances that are caused by other people, generally speaking.

We collectively agree that "not making bad decisions" and awareness of the exponential power of compounding them is a critical life skill that is honed over time.

Let me paint this picture for ya...

She's gorgeous and seems to behave herself.  Her modest work attire and weekday makeup & hair say "I drive a 2 year old Honda Accord."  And she does.

Within a couple of weeks you've seen the tramp stamp and the butterfly tattoo next to her shaven pussy.  She tells you about her bastards.  The 12 year old she had with the coke dealer when she was 19.  And the 5 year old with a bad learning disability and dwarfism that she intentionally conceived with a sheriffs deputy after dating for two months.

You ask about the tattoos.  It doesn't all come out at once.  Over time you get trickle truthed.  She got them when she was 15 and a runaway.  A 50 year old crack head named Maurice did it at his apartment where they were couch surfing and partying.  Shortly after that, she gets blacked out fucked up on her own and / or roofied by Maurice.  All kinds of good shit goes down.  She never tells anyone.  Turns out she's pregnant.  Tells her boyfriend it is his.  Boyfriend's mom took her for the abortion.

Wouldn't it just have been easier to jerk off than to have wasted 15 minutes of your life on this piece of shit once you saw the tattoos?
