He's free of dementia/alzheimer's, finally.   That's a good thing.

When the affliction is alzheimer's,  you should be happy when death comes.  It sets the victim free.

He was one of the truly funniest people to ever live.

I used to when I was a kid, sit with my grandfather and watch The Carol Burnett Show. I remember many nights laughing my ass off at Tim Conway, Harvey Korman and the rest.

Pretty sure I saw that when it first aired; my folks bowled in a league on Saturday night, so we kids watched The Carol Burnett show.
