2 Weeks In Hell was a great show.  Bear in mind, that is just to get authorization to go to the actual training.  Much respect for those dudes.

Speaking of porn, "Anatomy of Hell" is quite a movie. Art-house French movie about a woman who pays a gay guy to come to her house and watch her most intimate moments.

It's about as close to porn as you'll see, quite some WTF scenes in it. Italian porn actor Rocco Siffredi is in it.

Watched 'Bag of Hammers' and 'Butter'.

Bag of Hammers stars John Ritter's son and is a comedy/drama....a little slow but good overall.

Butter is all over the place but it has Olivia Wilde stripping....soooo

I remember someone mentioning "Compliance" way earlier in this thread.

Watched it the other day, and thought it sucked.  I felt like I was waiting for a peak that never came.  It was a messed up story, though.

Watching episode 12 right now. I've enjoyed the whole series so far.

Robin Wright and Kate Mara!

We watched the whole thing last weekend.  It's a great show, looking forward to more Netflix originals.

Another vote here for House of Cards. It was very, very good.

One of the best currently produced shows IMO.  I think it easily rivals BBC's Sherlock.

If Netflix can consistently attract that kind of talent and put that much money behind them, then we're in for some really good stuff.

"The Castle" (1997). Australian comedy I saw years ago.  Funny as hell.  Poor white trash family is told an airport expansion requires them to give up their home.  They decide to fight it.

I watched Unicorn City last night.

kinda funny poke at the D&D/Fantasy game players.

I know a few, and can relate, with the Colorado Renaissance Festival and ComicCon-ish/Sci-Fi conventions about 3x/yr
we're no strangers.

if you don't know the type, you might not find it funny.

Watched "Butter", based on all the recommendations here.  I liked it.

Alicia Silverstone is still hot, but WTF, did she sprout a mole on her forehead or what?

............and yeah, I really liked Olivia Wilde's character.

House of Cards is a remake of a British miniseries with Ian Richardson.

Yeah, the giant white words that say that in the beginning kinda implied that.

Queen of Versailles was really good. Documentary about David Seigal, billionaire and time share mogul. They started filming when he was at his peak and accidentally caught him lose almost everything. Riches to rags story.

Big vote for Adventures of Power.   Think Napoleon Dynamite as Rocky Balboa, sport:  air drumming.  The illegal airdrumming "fight" in Tijuana busted by los federales is especially rich.

Representative line from the movie: "Without an armpit, we'd be buying rock and roll from the Chinese!"

Oh, and Shoshannah Stern (deaf sister in Jericho):

You should really watch the original Swedish version...it's on Netflix too (well, the 2nd season is). It's much better IMHO. I watched the English version but it's too melodramatic for me.

"The House of the Devil" was really good.  Not a lot of action in the beginning, but the timing/flow of the plot slowly builds and it has a very creepy/dark feel the entire time.  I enjoyed it.  Much better than the typical shit that hollywood calls "horror" these days.
