Well this is a must buy for me that's for sure. I was trying to justify a black FXD after my original blue purchase two years or so ago. But now that an FXD GMT exists, that's the upgraded play for sure.

Tudor Pelagos FXD GMT

I just want a 39 with a date.

They should have left the date off.

This one has me super interested. I really don't need another watch though but this is just about perfect to me. One big negative is that I've heard Tudor won't refinish titanium. I would kind of prefer this in steel then. If they did this in steel with a bracelet that would be pretty awesome too.

A GMT watch without a date complication would be absurd.

Why? The vast majority of people want a date. It doesn’t clutter up the dial at all and actually flows nice with the other markers. If I was back in the military (as active duty) I’d wear that as a daily beater with my uniform.

Neat watch but not for me. I like a bracelet option.

Agreed. I don’t do cloth straps at all. Metal bracelets or rubber are all I really wear.

Black Bay 58 GMT has you covered.

The Black Bay GMT is chonk.

BB Pro has a fixed bezel like the Explorer II

Yup the one drawback to the FXD. There are rubber straps that fit it. The plus of the FXD is never having to worry about a spring bar breaking and the watch falling off and getting damaged or lost. I have some great leather and comfortable thick nylon NATO straps from Haveston for my regular FXD.

Well… I was ordering the new leather zuludiver strap. I decided to get a 22mm version and sandblasted mk3 buckle too. I don’t own any 22mm watches…

I hope my wife gets the hint for our anniversary ;)

I’m really enjoying my Pro.  I just don’t use the rotating bezel on my BB GMT much. (Or on any of my rotating bezel watches for that matter). I used to use it on airplanes when the flight deck would tell you flight time, but the infotainment screen always has ETA now anyways.

The yellow hands and indices look like faux patina on an otherwise modern design.

I've daily worn my blue Pelagos FXD throughout the last 2 years and the titanium shows little wear at all. You would have to really beat the case to make it worth refinishing in my opinion.
