After watching Caesar Milan rehab several pibbles, I understand why most people have no business with dogs.   Dogs need exercise.   I imagine this one is probably cooped up all day and hasn't had a good walk ever. My dog NEEDS 3 miles a day or she gets destructive.  Pibbles need A LOT of exercise or they redline.  Well exercised pets are generally lethargic and friendly.  They know who's in charge.

Dog is hit/miss with other animals? Ok.

Dog (specifically a pet, not a guard dog) is hit/miss with children? Goodbye.

Are you trying to get someone a timeout or ban?  It's science but you aren't allowed to talk about it.

This x100. I'd never feel comfortable with that animal. That coupled with the stereotype around pits? No fucking way man

I love my dog, but if he starts being aggressive at all to people, well, I'll put him down myself.

I won't have a dog that bites people.

Yes.  My dog is a pit bull mutt of some kind.

There are several here just like that who question other's manhood in these threads.

They won't ever question their own until they see it severed and consumed by their trash dogs.

Here in the Harris County/Houston area, they are breed like crazy then abandoned all over - mostly because people dont/cant take care of them or because they have behavior issues and no one wants them.

Certain demographics like fighting breeds.  The Venn diagram of those demographics and irresponsible breeders has a strong overlap.

The dog is aggressive with non-dog-reactive dogs.

That there is a HUGE issue and enough to put it down. Fucker is broken, which is exactly why the trainers say to put it down.

Usually you can fix dog aggressive dogs by some training with non-reactive dogs. Our trainers used to use our girl for just that, because you couldn't get her to react.

Now you add "Fucker wants to eat children" to that?

Yeah, some animals are broken. This one certainly is.

This

Real wackos would use coded phrases / euphemisms.

"He got  a little feisty trying to get to another dog one time"
"His anxiety acts up"
"Children don't know how to behave around him, and I think he's been abused before"

I see shit like this and supposed dating profiles with a chick with 4 different baby daddies demanding a potential match must be [insert gd style copypasta] willing to buy her a car and furnish a new 10k square foot house and just shake my head that it is too over the top and perfect not to be trolls. Just stop. Then you get people in the comments on twitter or threads here, “kill every fucking breed of peace and ghetto trash owner!!” “Entitled thot reeeeeee!” Does no one think critically? When a million of these turn out to be fake just ignored when the next one comes along.

I'm a PB owner and wouldn't hesitate to have that dog put down. I've never had a problem with any of my dogs, but I've always been ready to end them if they ever attacked a person or another animal.

I've owned 4 PB mixes over last 15 years or so. My experience has been positive with all of them.

Dog I fostered for a year was super defensive of children. He would stay close to any kids and make sure they were safe. He was generally scared of everything (water, chickens, dogs, cats, etc). He's either passed now or close to it. He grew up around children, dogs, cats, and never hurt anything. Although he was the biggest dog in his pack, he was still a beta to a Chihuahua mix that's 1/3rd his size.

I recently lost my first dog I had as an adult. I adopted her from a shelter at 18 months and raised her until she was 13. She had spend 15 months in the shelter, so only 3 months when she went in. She never attacked any animals or people other than killing one of my mom's chickens which I later realized it was probably partially caused by a duck toy I'd given her. After getting on her about the chicken she never went near one again. She met tons of people and the one word everyone described her as was "sweet".

My current male is 5 now. He's defensive of people that he doesn't know and barks, but doesn't growl and doesn't try to attack. He's been around plenty of kids and never been a problem. Was scared the first time he went around some friend's small kids only because he's a bit of a clutz and might knock them over or hit them with his tail, he actually did perfect.

My current female is 2 now. I adopted her 6 months ago from a shelter. She had been found on the street when she was around a year old. I'm assuming someone wanted a puppy but couldn't handle her or want her when she aged. She's so far been the calmest dog that I've had of the 4. She's doesn't even bark at people or other dogs. She likes to play with my male dog and they go at it pretty hard, but has never been aggressive towards me or anyone else.
