Shocked.  Oh, wait.  Not shocking.

The irony of the Tuey-Rodriguez charge is that the foreperson seemed to be using it as a punch list to guide her own bad conduct.  Right there in front of her: each juror's decision must be his own ... and she's just giddy about putting words in his mouth.  If anything the T-R charge should make it more apparent that a foreperson should favor a hung jury rather than having a holdout or holdout jurors relent to a verdict they did not agree with.

A verdict is preferable but the jurors' conclusions are to be their own, and they are to be respected for it.

That's the heart of that jury instruction, and the woman was just too unprofessional to read it for what it is and take corrective measures.  She even seemed to double down on the offending behavior - offending, meaning behavior running counter the judicial expectation of conduct in a jury room.

"We all worked together. And I don't know if it was to convince him to start with," Devlin told "CBS Mornings" co-host Gayle King. "We all worked together to convince ourselves once we got to that point where it was 10 to 2. I felt very bad for them because they felt attacked. And there is no way to not do that."

Uh, there is a way to not do that.  It's called objectivity, professionalism, and/or leadership.

It really is incredible how they've been so casually admitting to all of this in public, over and over and over

We all pretty much knew from how it played out in the jury room, IMHO it was obvious that this is who these people were and what their motivations were.

But there are brainlets who don't like pattern recognition who would have denied it.

After a full week of "post-game" press conferences by the feminist crabs it confirmed just about everything the "stereotypes" suggested.
Wild.

They were still deliberating yet planning on a not guilty verdict and press conference to START A FUCKING NATIONAL CONVERSATION.

It's very sad to take the 10,000ft view and really unpack the Hoe J. Simpson trial:

- Woman guilty of triple homicide of her own children in her own home
- Attempts "not guilty by reason of insanity", trying to escape jail for what she did
- Tiktok feminist crabs try to turn the case into a "who-done-it" when not even her ^ lawyer is debating that
- "Expert astrologists" explaining a fabricated version of the case on social media
- They take to social media with "me too Lindsey" videos
- They raise a million dollars for her on a gofundme
- Many millions of women trying a "Well akshullllly" conversation about PPD, not realizing what precedent they're setting
- "Rightwing" commentators playing defense attorney for team woman because they're all in on Gender team-politics > holding criminals accountable
- Case ends up being one juror away from her effectively walking, something we shouldn't know
- Media assists in doxxing the juror, making their identity known but leaving out their race (at first) so the digital rocks get thrown for a week.
- The jury feminists start a media tour more or less admitting they walked in trying to let her off the hook and furious at the one juror who didn't
- Media caught asking ^ one of them the same question twice to get the desired result (About re-trial)
- Patrick finally gets on camera, Lindsey never asked for forgiveness

The implications of the gamefilm are, just awful

I'm pretty sure I've asked this before, but, how did Reddington pretty much echo the parole/acquit/forgive/release Clancy crowd before the trial was judged a mistrial? Was he in contact with the "Save Lindsay" crowd ex parte before the trial ended? How did he know so much about what was supposedly going on in the deliberations?
Liberty is meaningless where the right to utter one's thoughts and opinions has ceased to exist. That, of all rights, is the dread of tyrants. It is the right which they first of all strike down. They know its power. F. Douglass

BREAKING: Lindsay Clancy’s defense is asking Judge William Sullivan to investigate “Juror Doe”...the lone holdout whose vote resulted in a mistrial.

The 9/18 motion seeks his confidential questionnaire, background-check results, records concerning an alleged 2021 prosecution and abuse-prevention order, cellphone metadata from deliberation days and a limited forensic examination of the phone allegedly carried into the jury room. The defense also wants Juror Doe questioned under oath about his voir dire answers, his Sept. 3 assurances and whether he used the phone or received outside information during deliberations.

The defense is also asking the court to question Juror No. 10 about what he allegedly observed concerning Juror Doe’s cellphone use during deliberations.

The defense requests that this motion be heard in open court on Sept. 29.

I'm confused by something.   The treatment he was receiving from the "Legalize infanticide" group berating him and multiple times told the judge he wasn't following rules.

Why did the judge completely overlook the complete shredding any rules, all evidence, and just declare not guilty in order to get feminist credit.   I'm guessing at least one will try to write a book when all it would be is a bunch of harpies screaming once any male got at least one wordout.

So when the judge was ensuring all the rules were followed by this guy, he should ave gotten enough information to discard the problem 3 jurors who were the leading cheerleaders to call her innocent because woman.

I don't see how faith in jury trials being legitimate recovers from this.

Now if I end up in front of a jury for something the Crazy Catlady Club takes interest in, I know the jury isn't deciding my guilt or innocence at all, but instead if they are willing to be doxxed, threatened, stalked, lawfared, etc for deciding based on facts.

Jury trials are (were?) the thing that made the Anglo-Saxon lineage of justice good, and frankly legitimate.

The mistrial is already a mistrial. You can't undo it.

What's he hoping for here?  Misconduct by the previous jury doesn't have any bearing on a new jury should the prosecutors decide to continue.  it won't influence the prosecution, unless there is massive public outcry maybe?

I don't think anyone cares what crazy bitches in mass think at this point.

At least 6 male jurors could be good, 12 male jurors could judge since all the female are tainted by default due to all the social media coverage it's gotten with the clickbait titles.
