I didn't even know that was a thing until your post.  Had to look up a video of the system firing and it's pretty neat.  Although, I kinda feel bad for the one guy running his ass off with ammo in the video  Gotta say, that's a lot of 'to whom it may concern' on target in a hurry.

Hispano-Suiza 20mm Mk II or 404, aircraft autocannon.  Replaced the 8ea .303 Brownings for 4ea MkIIs on the Hawker Hurricane and Spitfire fighters.  France used it as the 404 in preWWII aircraft.  Also used on ground AA mounts.
