I see kits on eBay for <$200 to make a generator run on natural gas
It doesn’t look to hard to add to a generator
Does anyone have experience with doing this?

I know it reduces the power of the engine
But I am mostly wish to backup gas heat and refrigerator/freezer, lighting
I would like to have something that has options to fuel

From what I recall, they are pretty easy to add to that model. These add on devices were popular 15 to 20 years ago before trifuel generators became readily available. Keep in mind that you can get a new inverter trifuel model for not a whole lot more that will be much quieter and consume much less fuel.

I converted the propane side of my dual fuel duromax 13k. Probaby got the conversion from ebay. Just searched one for my genny. Its basically just a regulator and connection into the carb.  If my dumbass can do it you'll be fine.

I bought a tri fuel carburetor off amazon for $38.00 and put it on.  Worked pretty good, but sold off the generator.

It’s easy. Did a conversion to a Champion inverter generator.

Nash Fuel should have what you need.
