| I already have an A1 mini and a P1P that is enclosed and has an AMS 2 Pro on top. I want to print more than just PLA and PETG at this point. I've have limited success printing ABS. What printer should I be looking at to print ABS, PA-6 CF, etc or should I just keep what I already have? Also, as I understand PA-6 CF, it needs to be dried at a higher temperature than the AMS 2 is capable of and can't be fed from the AMS, is this true? If so, will I also need a AMS-HT or a West3d toaster oven? |

They should have made it 20C more capable. That would have made a huge difference. So can you print PA-6 CF using the AMS 2 or should you print straight from the West3D toaster? Maybe I'm dense but the Bambu website seems ambiguous. |

Anything with an actively heated chamber would be even better. |

I think the cheapest way to feed CF filament is with the HT. Well, maybe not the cheapest but it works for me. I've used it for all my CF prints and it works fine but like Obsessed says, it's temp limited...85° max. You really need to dry CF at 100° minimum. But I dry in a Sunlu E2 and then feed from the HT while it's heating the filament at 70° to keep it flexible. But here's the PIA part...you have to run the filament out of the port in the back side of the HTs cover, then manually feed it to the extruder. Once the extruder grabs the filament, it will pull it from the HT quite nicely. I've also printed CF in my P2S and it works fine. No chamber heat but with the bed at 100° the chamber temp runs in the mid-50s. |
| I've decided to try another route, ordered a Panda Breath chamber heater/air purifier and preordered a West3D toaster oven. Hopefully that will tide me over until there are more choices in the multi head enclosed and heated market. |
