This popped up my feed today, but don't know anything else about it. Supposed to be a documentary about a year long investigation in black magic rituals summoning creatures like were encountered during the Varginha incident.

Fox was working on pt2 of his first film this time including many many eyewitnesses including the neurosurgeon that worked on one of the aliens. I am not going to subscribe to anything other than what comes with amazon prime (which I use, along with audible, that is the totality) since I'd forget I subscribed and be confused at where all my money is going each month. They count on you forgetting subscriptions. So add in a dozen video and audio/music subscriptions, with only 2 you really ever use and if you get down to it, actually just one is "required" and the other one is kind of a diversion maybe once every other month or so, yet your subscribed to dozens of providers and have forgotten about it. Easier to get a new credit card for online purchases once every year or two and then when you start getting all the spam for subscription payments not working, you can simply cancel all of the ones you forgot you signed up for. It's the easiest way instead if doing the work of figuring out what you are subscribe to and how to cancel each one you don't want. They make it hard to unsubscribe with 10 pages pushing all sorts of free months of other content or access bribery to keep you around. Change your card number and that unsubscribing hassle miraculously vanishes. I'm more "unplugged" I don't sit for hours and watch tv or youtube, I keep up with this forum and many of the sub 90 minute videos posted and fix GD leakage, put stuff together (wood, electronics), draw, paint, learn music and a bunch of other DIY things that have made a resurgence since Covid and a big list of "time wasting cerebral hobbies" is created. When doing something that requires my hands elsewhere, audible is there. When I feel like a movie or see a link in this forum for one, I watch on Amazon prime movies. There's not really any movie past or present that I care enough about to dump even $10 on, especially to watch just once, instead of owning. I can get most at the used DVD shop for $3 if I really, really need it to screencap to make a new meme or something. End Grumpy old stingy rant |
