So there has been a big push by the media to make WNBA popular. They are trying to use Caitlin Clark as a catalyst to spark popularity for the sport. I noticed something really odd... the media coverage has all degraded into drama Instead of talking about team strategy, or what happened in the game, all the coverage is focused on BS drama *Did you hear what xxx said about Caitlyn Clark? *Did you see what X player said to Caitlyn Clark? *Did you see the facial expressions during this game with Caitlyn clark? *Did you see the petty antics in X game? Every time I see snippets of WNBA play it reminds me of when I used to watch Division 3 men's college basketball, but slower and with less dunks. |
