I believe Cathy Wood is quoted as saying “Being too early is as bad as being wrong.”  I always relayed that to her thoughts on the EV and ADAS market. Of course, that could be completely wrong g.

Might be an interesting week for mvis..... this Friday is monthly expiration of options. Assuming it stays around 2.50 throughout the week Friday might be a battle to get it below 2.50 or keep it above

I noticed almost no call options for them today though. I had to push out like a year before any popped up.

I agree with him that shrinkflation should be ended just so the consumers can more easily compare identical product cost over the years or even months. He is lucky the companies try to hide inflated ingredient, energy, and labor costs the way they do or out of control money printing by the Gov. would become more apparent for the less observant who don't normally check the oz on their chip bag or coffee can. Oh look, even the off-brand prices have increased in the same proportion as the "greedy" name brands (sharpens pitchfork).

Here's a ray of sunshine on a horrid day. Vanguard SEC filing...they now own 7.23% of Microvision, something like 13,732,638 shares. That's a YoY increase of 33%. I love when Vanguard buys, 'cause several of my funds hold MVIS.

Yes, both V and Blackrock loan them, but as Voice of Reason noted: "So correct me if I'm wrong, but the gap between short interest and shares held by Institutions looks to now be 13.555 Million Shares." You have to wonder how many more naked shares would have to be covered as well. Are V and B both buying insurance?

Oh, and something called Geode Capital opened a new 4.2 million share position. I'll take that, too.

Actually, looks like between V and B, they now own 31M shares. Short interest is reported at right at 50M....

Saw this on Reddit this morning. Looks like they are thinking it could be another short squeeze potential.

Also interesting to see how much “regular people” own of the company. I imagine some guys here could get together and own as much or more than the Tutes

Just a reminder not specific to any stock..... brokerages might start listing earning dates for a company but it's just an estimate

For example my yahoo fiance widget is saying 12 days till mvis earnings..... mvis hasn't announced an earnings date yet,  so 12 days is just an estimate

Freaking schwab.  I've had a watchlist custom view set up for all 4 portfolios from which I trade and monitor everything.   Suddenly - all gone.  Nothing.  Blank page. Did a chat with a rep and they can't figure it out so need to call tech support.  fortunately I was able to recreate it from the log in to my wife's account since 2 of the portfolios are joint, they show up under her log in as well.

Can you believe that?  Guess I need to set up TorS but man if I was in the middle of a trade or something and that happened, I would be more pissed than I am now.  Bullshit

Perhaps I'm reading Fintel incorrectly, but Geode doesn't appear to be a new position? Just added more. Either way, lots of institutional buying lately.

On 2/13/24 Geode Capital MGMT filed a form disclosing ownership of 4.2 million shares of Mvis.  As of 12/31/23 the entity filed a previous disclosing of ownership 3.8 million shares. A change in 10.59% of ownership.

Hard to say. He'll usually buy the shortest date call. Entering at 850 and burning theta, he could still be underwater. Puts after this morning's run would have been so much money.

All I know is warrants give you the right to buy stock at a certain price (DWAC being $11.5 if i'm not mistaken) but not the obligation.
I know it has to be in a certain time period to convert, but don't know what that is. There are other requirements for it to happen also. If I had to guess, you can't convert right now, or they'd probably be worth more.
