I can not hold puts because every time the market starts to do this the bulls would come along and take my money.

Trump would come out and say something about the economy being the best ever and how he just landed some deals to make it even better.

But now we don't have that. I may actually try to have diamond hands tomorrow.

It would be good time for merger with all the other stuff I have on sale and likely headed for clearance sale prices the next few days.

I have a couple questions for those more knowledgeable than myself.
First off, MMTC. I see they have next to no volume, but about the same amount each day. It moves from .35-.20 every time. Is someone just trying to generate some interest?

Also, does anyone know what’s going on with ENZC?
I have a good chuck of change with them bit dont see anything going on?

Same.  I have a few I am in longer to see where they go.  ZOM, SENS, MINE, SXOOF, AABB, ABEPF, and EEENF.  I thought I would have been out of ZOM by now, but waiting for some action after release.

Holding on to a shitty stock when you could sell and then use those funds to buy a likely winner is also a way to 'lose' money.
Granted, you are losing potential money, but it is still a genuine concern.

Who the hell do you know outside of this thread that invests in MVIS? Who the hell do you know outside of this thread that has actually heard of MVIS?

Now apply the same questions i posed and change the ticker to Googl.

Fyi big money can and does manipulate aapl... and they are proud to say how easy of a ticker it is to manipulate. See aapl price lately with no underlying change in fundamentals to aapl.

If a strategic partnership or buyout is decided, the share price will take care of itself. We may go through a little more hell for a day or two, but I'm rapidly coming to believe it won't matter.

Seriously, if you're twisted about the SP right now, I highly encourage you to go to this R/MVIS link, scroll down about ten posts and start reading the post where frobinso says "All roads lead to change of control".

Farhi and his Canadian cousin own more than 10% of Microvision...each. They basically kept the company afloat during the very worst times. He's stepping off after the ASM in May, after the most critical juncture in the company's history, with no named replacement.

This comment is gold...

No need for Westgor to hang around, but they gave it a window until June. No need for Fahri to hang around, because he “already knows the final payoff on his position”.

Basically, Oz is the babysitter on duty and will get her payment once it’s finalized."

I'm smiling again for the first time all day, down $300K give or take since Monday. It's happening...

Farhi retires...

I know that feeling.  I see the market start ticking up and I jump out with my meager 15% when I should trust my analysis.  I jumped out of my QQQ puts yesterday the moment it seemed like it was going to turn.

Now, I'm stuck trying to decide which way the market is going to go.

The puts I bought yesterday at 4.75, I sold later in the day for 6.50....today they were worth $10.

One correction...looks like approx 10M shares between them, not each. I'll verify...just remember the family stepping in with these enormous purchases when we had ten toes over the lip, and thinking, "what are these people doing?".

What's telling is no one can find any record of a sale at or above $20. I'll correct that as well if it turns up differently, but he was required to report.

In hindsight, correct answer may be "getting filthy rich"...

😔
But it will work for me if the price lowers a bit more so I can get back in.
At this time of year, I could not chance this much volatility if things seriously did go south. I bailed out last week. 2020 destroyed my line of work. So I'm just here hoping.

The booming Trump years have brought in so many retail investors the last few years.  And after nothing but "stonks go up" now they don't know how to handle a bear market.

Sooooo when a buyout or merger happens.... how does the price of mvis get set? Are we potentially looking at a price staying in double or triple digits.

When it happens, I hope 30 at a minimum.  35-50 is quite possible.  100+ is unlikely, but I'd certainly not dissuade any buyers from offering that much.

Correct me if I'm wrong but consensus was that M/A would happen on a Monday AFTER the A-Sample test.
The A-Sample test is scheduled for April (no day given) and April 1 is not a viable option.
Under this scenario the M/A could be announced as early as April 5. Minimum that we can be abused by the HF ass-hats is 7 trading days.

Just thought I would throw that out there for the party planners

Is Merger Monday still really a thing?  Plenty of mergers and acquisitions seem to be announced on pretty much every weekday.
