Am I being unreasonable? Why's it take so effin long for funds to settle? Is this just a Fidelity thing? I transferred in a decent amount of money on 07/02. I guess that's really only three business days with the holiday but still it always seems Fidelity takes 12-15 days for funds to settle. Therefore with that money I transferred in and used to buy I cannot sell for the 12-15 days without a good faith violation.

IBKR sucks too, although I do have margin enabled so I can sell CSPs. I get a little more leeway with margin even though I don't use it. |

If you were doing it as fast as a computer or technology would allow, it would be incredibly easy to fool the system. That’s the reasoning I was given by an IB friend. The reality is that I’m sure they are making money off the interest of loaning your money to the Fed, other banks, etc. |

Well this should be interesting to see if there are any coat tails for MVIS and the entire LiDAR sector today or next week.

While they call it Full Self Driving beta V9 they correct things at the bottom of the story to state that its only Level 2. I guess this means that Tesla considers the car doing a lot of steering and braking but limited decision making as Full Self Driving. Note that they also state that past owners of the FSD option can download to their cars when available. Which means they are not utilizing any new hardware to do this. Just the prior camera/AI from before. |
