"We know they are lying, they know they are lying, they know we know they are lying, we know they know we know they are lying, but they are still lying."

Communism sucks.....to understate things beyond measure.....capitalism.......certainly the monstrosity of rule by government intertwined with corporations we have in the US, does too.

My favorite thing he said was, something to the effect of  "how we burned in the camps knowing we should've fought back but now it's too late"

Methinks Lord Acton said it first.  "They lied, we knew they lied, and they knew that we knew they lied.  That is diplomacy."

“When we get ready to take the United States we will not take you under the label of Communism, we will not take you under the label of Socialism. . .We will take the United States under labels we have made very lovable; we will take it under Liberalism, under Progressivism, under Democracy. But take it we will.” Alexander Trachtenberg, National Convention of Communist Parties, Madison Square Garden, 1944

...and they have.

There's a lesson in there somewhere. And history repeats itself. We will ignore both at our great peril.

The closest thing to Capitalism that exists in the US today is a kid’s lemonade stand. And, various local governments have tried to outlaw those.

We’re in a somewhat perverse Socialist State where the Government tries to control the Corporations but, in reality, the Corporations control the Government.

When I first read a work of Solzhenitsyn, the idea that such a system could be created in America seemed like science fiction. Today, I'm not sure such a system will be prevented. Like the Russians before us, we're still in a state of denial and may be until after everyone is in the system and wondering how it all happened so quickly.

Yes we know our Government is lying to us

They've gone completely tyrannical.

And yes, people like you and me will be killed or placed in camps.

We really should be fighting in the streets already.

Of course there are lots of people trying to convince us that things aren't so bad.

This gaslighting is most insidious when it's coming from people who are supposedly aligned with us politically.

Those people have invested heavily into the status quo, and desperately need it to continue.

They're hoping society can continue to suffer these tyrants a few more years so they can get that comfortable retirement package they were promised.

Or They're Government employees who would be put in an uncomfortable position of choosing between their dental plan with the tyrants,  or their responsibilities as an American citizen.

And I suppose there's a third group who are just simply afraid of death, and they'd rather live in chains then die fighting for what's right.

Of course I would love nothing more than to be left alone, and never have to fight evil at all.

But the attacks on our Freedoms and American way of life continue to increase on a daily basis.

Our window to fight this thing is rapidly closing,  and we need to stop being influenced by weak men who would be happy to see us all enslaved as long as they get their fat payday.

Alex Jones actually read the quote about burning in the camps today, so I found the whole quote
And how we burned in the camps later, thinking: What would things have been like if every Security operative, when he went out at night to make an arrest, had been uncertain whether he would return alive and had to say good-bye to his family? Or if, during periods of mass arrests, as for example in Leningrad, when they arrested a quarter of the entire city, people had not simply sat there in their lairs, paling with terror at every bang of the downstairs door and at every step on the staircase, but had understood they had nothing left to lose and had boldly set up in the downstairs hall an ambush of half a dozen people with axes, hammers, pokers, or whatever else was at hand?... The Organs would very quickly have suffered a shortage of officers and transport and, notwithstanding all of Stalin's thirst, the cursed machine would have ground to a halt! If...if...We didn't love freedom enough. And even more – we had no awareness of the real situation.... We purely and simply deserved everything that happened afterward

If you want to know how to have and maintain freedom, never allow a small yet violently determined group of socialists gain any type of power. If we do, then we will soon be living this book instead of reading it.

I'm afraid we've waited to long, as it's already too late.
